Kara Walz

Hello! I am a mechanical engineering student at the University of Saskatchewan who was born and raised on the prairies. I have always enjoyed learning about how things worked (which is a lot of my degree), and in research I enjoy multidisciplinary work and seeing how scientific discoveries are translated to real life applications. This could mean a lot of things; previously I have contributed to agricultural research, but I am especially interested in the biomedical field. Particularly, this summer I am excited to contribute to the development of accessible healthcare tools.
