Joint EMHSeed and XSeed Funding Program

The Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering (FASE) at the University of Toronto has announced the launch of the 2024-2026 Joint EMHSeed and XSeed Funding Program. This program aims to catalyze new innovative partnerships between researchers from FASE and researchers from their partner divisions, including the Temerty Faculty of Medicine (TFoM).

Funding is available for up to TWO collaborative projects with TFoM through the EMHSeed program. For additional details and eligibility requirements please refer to the Joint EMHSeed and XSeed Call for Proposals. A list of past EMHSeed and XSeed projects is available on the FASE Research Hub which is accessible with a UTORid and password.

Interested in finding a CoPI from FASE to partner with? Input your information into the collaboration database and review other PIs looking to collaborate.

Please email applications, including all supporting documents, to Myriam Couturier, by 12:00 P.M. on Monday, March 11, 2024. Please include the term “Joint Seed” in the subject line.

Joint EMHSeeed and XSeed Information Session

FASE is hosting an information session for all applicants to the Joint EMHSeed and XSeed opportunities on January 19, 2024 from 10:30 - 11:30 A.M. This session will explore:

PI Eligibility for each of the programs
Review of the application requirements and submission process
Recommendations from the review committee

Hear from past successful applicants and the review committee.
