New Programs

The primary responsibility for the design and quality assurance of new graduate degree programs lies with the University and its governing bodies. Academic divisions (i.e. Temerty Faculty of Medicine) are responsible for curriculum design, the identification of program objectives, the development of learning outcomes and degree level expectations, and the assembly of human, instructional and physical resources.

The first step to establishing a new program is to contact the Graduate Affairs Officer at the Office of Graduate and Life Sciences in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine.  At this point, broad consultation must take place with faculty members, students, and other stakeholders as necessary.  For further information, please visit New Program.
