Leah Carley

Hi everyone, I'm Leah! I'm a fourth year Materials and Biomedical Engineering student at McMaster University. After having been exposed many high unmet need cancers in my work at Janssen pharmaceuticals, I came to be quite fond of the leukemia research area. My main research interests are aligned with advancing on current treatment regimes for diseases such as Acute Myeloid Leukemia, and isolating a genetic source for the disease: halting disease progression before ineffective salvage therapies are involved.
