Health and Wellness Resources

Welcome to the GLSE page.

Below is a list of all the health and wellness resources available to you as a [registered] graduate student at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and off campus resources that are available (for a fee)

You will be able to search for services/resources using (a) key words, (b) session type [workshop, one-on-one, or group session], and/or (c) location of service [on or off campus].

All on-campus resources are available to registered graduate students in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine.  If you are not a registered graduate student or on an approved leave of absence (LOA), please contact the service/organization directly for your eligibility.

On-campus refers to services/resources primarily available on the St. George Campus.  Off-campus refers to services/resources that are not on the UofT campus; please contact the service/organization directly.

Overcoming your Inner Critic

Scarborough Hospital Mobile Crisis Program

Off Campus — Free
One-on-one

Hospital Crisis Program: Supports to individuals who arrive at the hospital’s Emergency Department. A crisis worker is available on site 24/7 to provide assistance for individuals experiencing an emotional or psychiatric crisis. The program’s services are extended to all Scarborough residents. Community Crisis Program: For individuals who are 16 years or older and who are experiencing mental health symptoms, including feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or anxiety. Services include 24/7 telephone support, crisis de-escalation, safety and crisis planning, mental health assessments and referral to appropriate community resources. Mobile Crisis Intervention Team: A collaboration between SHN and the Toronto Police Services, this program provides community crisis response to individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis.

Stella’s Place is offering a number of online groups which are open to all young adults (16-29) in the City of Toronto.Current drop-in groups include:
