Health and Wellness Resources
Welcome to the GLSE page.
Below is a list of all the health and wellness resources available to you as a [registered] graduate student at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and off campus resources that are available (for a fee)
You will be able to search for services/resources using (a) key words, (b) session type [workshop, one-on-one, or group session], and/or (c) location of service [on or off campus].
All on-campus resources are available to registered graduate students in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. If you are not a registered graduate student or on an approved leave of absence (LOA), please contact the service/organization directly for your eligibility.
On-campus refers to services/resources primarily available on the St. George Campus. Off-campus refers to services/resources that are not on the UofT campus; please contact the service/organization directly.
If you know of a on-campus service/resource that is not listed here, we would love to hear from you by email at glse.admin@utoronto.ca. Please include the name of the resource and link. Questions about services/resources listed below should be directly sent to the corresponding organization.
HealthyU Crew
The HealthyU Crew is a team of dedicated undergraduate and graduate students who lead peer health education programming that empowers other students to reach their health and wellness goals through key information, strategies and tools.
HopeforWellness
The Hope for Wellness Help Line offers immediate mental health counselling and crisis intervention to all Indigenous peoples across Canada.

Inkblot is a councelling service that offers individual councelling as well as couples therapy
Leadership for Grads
Leadership for Grads is a series of workshops to help graduate students apply leadership theories to their every day lives. Strengthen your organization and collaboration skills so you can run effective research groups, lead committee meetings and facilitate classroom environments.
Learning Skills Workshops
Each 60-minute learning skills workshop is led by a learning strategist. Students will learn different learning strategies about a specific academic skill (e.g. time-management). You will also have opportunities to ask questions about learning strategies and listen in on discussions.
Mental Health and Justice Wellness Support Group
You will be able to:
- Connect and explore tools to support your mental wellness
- Learn from each other and enhance self-awareness
- Develop strategies and skills to cope in overwhelming situations

Mind Beacon
MindBeacon offers Canadians the full spectrum of digital mental health support, including face-to-face live therapy, therapist-guided programs, immediate crisis support and free resources from the Stronger Minds community. You start off with a quick assessment which will help identify and understand the issues and challenges you're facing. From there, MindBeacon will create a unique treatment plan and assign a dedicated registered therapist to oversee your progress.
Mindful Moments
Mindful Moments offer classes by heir Mindful Moments Instructors that are shaped by their unique academic and personal experience with mindfulness.

MoveU.HappyU
MoveU.HappyU is a free, unique six-week program that offers behaviour change coaching and exercise training to students for mental health support.
Naseeha Helpline for Young Muslims
Mental Health provides a confidential helpline for young Muslims to receive immediate, anonymous, and confidential support over the phone from 12 – 9 pm, 7 days a week (Eastern Standard Time) and over text Monday to Friday.
