LEAD Committee Virtual Learner-Led Anti-Oppression Symposium

The LEAD Committe is excited to invite you to attend The 2021 Anti-Oppression in Health Care and Sciences Symposium. U of T Temerty Faculty of Medicine learners will present initiatives and research that uncover and explore how to dismantle forms of systemic oppression in health care services, research, and education. It will be held on March 12, 5:00pm-7:30pm & March 13, 10:00am-12:30pm.

Join us in challenging oppressive and exclusionary social, institutional, and structural factors that create barriers, and in highlighting resiliency of patients and learners from marginalized communities. Together we will create pathways to more inclusive spaces in health-related education and increase health equity.


This Symposium is being organized by the Faculty of Medicine Learner Equity and Discussion (LEAD) Committee in partnership with the Faculty of Medicine Office of Inclusion and Diversity.
