Speaker Bios:

Patrick Hillan joined sixsense over seven years ago after spending 3 years as a life sciences headhunter with an executive search firm in downtown Toronto. Before this, he attended the University of Edinburgh, where he graduated with a BSc (Hons) and MSc in Neuroscience. Throughout his studies, Patrick had the opportunity to work in several research labs that focused on identifying the underlying mechanisms for various neurological diseases including multiple sclerosis and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

In his role as a Director, Science & Strategy, Patrick supports cross-functional teams at Canadian and US life sciences companies in the development of strategy. He has experience working across a significant number of therapeutic areas including neurology, hematology, and rare genetic diseases.

As well as being a foodie and amateur chef, Patrick is an avid rugby fan and can be found cheering for his provincial team in Ireland (Ulster) as well as the national team.

Kwamaa Duah joined the sixsense team in 2019 as a Science and Strategy Analyst.

Before this, she attended the University of Toronto, where she graduated with an MSc in Molecular Genetics. As a trained microbiologist, Kwamaa has had the opportunity to support exciting research in molecular microbiology and infectious disease.

In her role as Sr. Medical Communications Manager, she helps to support her clients in the development of compelling and strategic stories through various medical communications projects. Spanning a variety of therapeutic areas, these activities support the education, training and engagement needs of cross-functional teams at Canadian and US pharmaceutical companies.

As a lover of live music and with a growing green thumb, Kwamaa can be found at various music events in the city or tending to her growing plant collection.

Chris Zealey joined sixsense as an intern after completing his Master's degree in Biotechnology at McGill University. Before this, he attended the University of Waterloo, where he got his HBSc in Microbiology. Throughout his studies, Chris had the opportunity to work as a co-op student at various Life Sciences organizations like Sanofi Pasteur and academic labs.

When he wasn't performing experiments for his graduate degree, Chris focused on growing his business acumen by enrolling in MBA and Law School courses. He also participated in case competitions and workshops through various academic consulting organizations. By the end of his Master's experience, he had been included in multiple Scientific Publications looking at novel vaccine candidates, written his Thesis in Microbiology/Immunology, and completed a specialization in Business & Policy.

Chris has grown to become a Senior Leadership Team member at Sixsense Strategy Group where he leads various strategic and medical clients and projects, while helping the organization grow.

When he isn't helping develop strategy for his clients, Chris can be found enjoying nature, hiking somewhere in the forest. That, or watching Football (European, not American).

Krushi Gohil is a Project Manager at sixsense and have been with the company since March 2021. Krushi completed her H.BSc in life sciences with a minor in economics from McMaster University and is also a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM ®), accredited by the Project Management Institute.

Prior to sixsense, Krushi worked as a Project Manager at a tech startup and has experience as a Research Associate.
