Ajmera Transplant Centre Open House

We are opening our (virtual) doors on May 19! The Ajmera Transplant Centre (ATC) would like to provide the transplant community an opportunity to meet and build relationships with our diverse team of transplant experts.

As a global leader in transplant care, research, and education, ATC nurtures access and inclusion. Diversity is a top priority given that representation is key to creating a more equitable transplant system. For those considering a career in transplant, ATC offers an opportunity for mentorship with leading experts in the field.

Our Virtual Open House includes two back-to-back events.

Part 1: An Evening of Transplant Innovation

Learn about the latest in transplant research from Drs. Mamatha Bhat, Marcelo Cypel, Ana Konvalinka, and Istvan Mucsi. Moderated by health journalist and non-directed living kidney donor, Wency Leung.

Part 2: Explore a Career in Transplantation

Discover the unique learning opportunities available at ATC from Drs. Blayne Sayed, Kathryn Tinckam, Cynthia Tsien, and Joanne Zee. Moderated by liver transplant coordinator and host of the Living Transplant podcast, Brittany Cole, RN.

Note for registration: if you plan on attending both events, you only need to register for part 1.

ATC welcomes post-secondary students who identify as Indigenous, Black, racialized, LGBTQ2S, first in family to attend university, disabled, economically disadvantaged, and/or from a minoritized faith, amongst other groups and communities.

See you on May 19!
