Division of Teaching Labs (DTL) Undergraduate Summer Research Awards

These awards will support advanced summer research experience for students in Life Sciences programs at the University of Toronto. A total of eight awards - two each for the Department of Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Molecular Genetics and Physiology. These four departments were chosen since each of these departments has at least two undergraduate lab courses delivered in DTL.

• Each award will be in the amount of $5000.
• The department will select the students and disperse the full amount of each of its two awards.
• Only students who have taken at least one lab course in their area of specialization or major, have obtained at least a B+ grade in this lab course, and have a GPA of at least a B+ are eligible for these awards.
• Summer research program will run for at least 12 weeks
