Current Research: I am currently an MSc student at Immunology Department and is doing clinical research at Toronto Western Hospital. The main interest for me is to investigate the pathogenic genes and associating immune signal pathways for ankylosing spondylitis. The final goal of my project is to establish a potential pathological model for this chronic autoimmune disease.
Why Faculty of Medicine? Being a scientist researching on incurable diseases and develop new therapies has become my dream when I was very young. According to what I have saw and experienced, the Faculty of Medicine at University of Toronto should be one of the best place to realize such dream.
Future Education Plans and/or Career Goals: My career goal is being a scientist on clinical research. Hence by MD and PhD are under my consideration.
