Summer Research Program
The Department of Molecular Genetics runs a research program for undergraduate students during the summer where students are typically paid a stipend for 12 weeks (May to early August).  The program culminates in a poster presentation of student research in early August.  Interested students are encouraged to contact a faculty member in the Department about the possibility of doing summer research between September and mid-January before the summer term.  If the faculty member agrees to mentor the summer project, both the student and professor should contact Dr. Marc Meneghini to make arrangements.  Students who make arrangements after mid-January can be accepted but the student may not be eligible for Departmental funding support (e.g. UROP).  Check the departmental website for updated information about deadlines.
