The Computational Biology Undergraduate Summer Student Health Research Award provides undergraduate students in the life sciences, mathematics and computer sciences with an opportunity to undertake computational biology health-related research projects with established researchers in an environment that provides strong mentoriship. Stipend: Maximum $5000.00 for 4 months. An additional 25% (minimum) above the stipend contribution must be secured from other sources by the supervisor.
Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and have completed at least the first year of university study in an undergraduate degree program in mathematics, physics, computer science, life sciences, or a related field at a Canadian university at the time of application. Training must be done under the supervision of at least one faculty member who holds a CIHR and/or CIHR-partnered program research greant (eg: NSERC, Genome Canada).
